Universidade Estadual de Londrina
The Universidade Estadual de Londrina (UEL) was recognized on October 7, 1971, through the merger of isolated faculties in the areas of Literature, Law, Philosophy, and Dentistry, which had been created since the 1950s in Londrina.
Currently, UEL's academic structure is showcased by 52 on-campus undergraduate courses (37 Bachelor's and 15 Teaching degrees), 2 distance learning courses (1 Teaching degree and 1 Technologist degree), and 185 Graduate programs (including residencies, specializations, Master's, and Doctoral degrees), all distributed across nine Study Centers.

Londrina is a city located in northern Paraná state, in southern Brazil, approximately 390 km from the state capital, Curitiba. It has a population of approximately 600,000 inhabitants, making it the second most populous city in the state and the fourth in southern Brazil, after Curitiba, Porto Alegre, and Joinville.
Strategically located as a hub linking southern and southeastern Brazil, Londrina is an important urban, economic, industrial, financial, administrative, and cultural center of northern Paraná, with a vibrant gastronomy and various tourist attractions such as the history museum, the cathedral, Igapó lake, the botanical garden, Arthur Thomas Park, among others.
